Lizette Bester is a business consultant that specializes in call centre design, audit, turnaround programmes, management training and coaching. She qualified as a teacher at the University of Pretoria, taught for two years and worked as an airhostess for almost two years before entering the call centre industry. Lizette progressed through all the ranks and positions of the call centre industry and managed some of the biggest call centers in South Africa.

In 2005 she published a book on the principles of call centre management: Managing Call Centre to Success - The key to future customer service. After publishing the book she started her career as a business consultant. She joined Pieter de Villiers as business partner and co-consulted in several call centres.

She lectures part time and has been invited to speak at several Customer Services and Contact Centre Management Conferences. She is a qualified facilitator, trainer, assessor and professional graphologist and completed her Honours degree in Psychology at the University of Johannesburg in 2005.

Lizette has participated in the design and development of the recruitment, selection and development tool called Shadowmatch (www.shadowmatch.net). She currently facilitates all user training and feedback sessions on Shadowmatch, provides client support and actively participates in ongoing research.

She is also a member of the team who designed and built the Business Design Auditing tool called goNXTmove (www.gonxtmove.com). Lizette is a co-author of the book Future Business: The game has changed. She has published several articles, focusing on people management, performance management and customer service.

She is an active golfer, enjoys jogging, swimming, scuba diving and playing the guitar.
